Oh My!

I have a good friend in my neighborhood that loved the ornament wreath I made last year. (The one that broke)  My friend decided last year to start building her wreath and oh how it puts mine to shame!  Everything she makes is big and beautiful, and her home is gorgeous! Her husband knows some car upholstery guys that cut her out a huge wood wreath form and batted it with car upholstery felt.  That's pretty smart!

My friend hit the after Christmas sales and picked up most of the balls for 90% off.  My wreath had at least 220 balls, we're thinking this must have at least 1000? She said that it measures 48" by 48"! Crazy!

I am so amazed with her skills!
Wow!

I WANT IT! I am totally loving these color combos and it's how I'm decorating my daughter's room for Christmas (little by little!). I would love to do this in the shape of an L and keep it up year round for her room - but would that be too Christmas-y? Hmm... I hope she can keep it safe from year to year with it being so big!

Get outta here! That wreath is stunning!
I am ashamed now to say I made one. I'm a fly by the seat of my pants girl and I just glued and stuck any old way. The wreath form was around a dime from a flea market...I thought mine was huge, but now, not so much...bye, going to remove my wreath from my blog post.

I just stumbled across your blog and can't wait to keep searching until I come across your wreath from last year.
