It's Tool Time Tuesday Week #3!

I'm "not so secretly" in love right now.....
Don't worry, my husband knows all about it.
He even encourages it.
I'm in love with Walt....ya know.....
DeWalt.
I dream of DeWalt tools, when I'm out cutting away in my little shed,
those shiny yellow and black colors call to me
and yes, I want them, I need them.
I soooooo love them.
But why oh why do you have to be sooooooo expensive????
I'm currently dreaming of a drill, which happens to be our tool topic for today.  Better late than never!
Having a good drill is essential to crafting.
I used to think that I wanted a fancy cordless one but really the ones I like have cords.
I get more power with a corded drill, I never have to worry about the batteries being dead at the exact moment I need it to hang curtain rods or drill a hole in my latest craft.
Also I prefer one that doesn't need a chuck to switch out the bits!  They are a pain!
You can pick up a great set of drill bits for cheap at Harbor Freight Tools!
I don't seem to feel nearly as bad about breaking my bits when I know I got them for nothing!
I currently have and love a Craftsman corded drill.  $10 at the pawn shop.
I seriously couldn't live without it.
His poor cord has been hurt and spliced twice by me, and yet he keeps drilling away.
So, I'm on the look out for a lovely DeWalt at the pawn shops because the bad boy I want is normally about $128 smack-a-roos.
Isn't he cute......

I can relate... I got my first set when I was 18 and have been in love ever since. When I went to visit my inlaws the first time (before they were my inlaws) we were driving around town and out of the corner of my eye I saw a DeWalt store.... I squealed!! Nice first impression huh~

Hope the tool fairy brings this to you one way or another... make sure to check for an outlet in your area and Craigslist.
