We thought we'd share a cute idea
you could easily put together at the last moment
with little money,
little time,
and something you can do with your kids!
You're Dad will love it!
I'm in charge of doing an Activity Day for
16 little girls (ages 8-11) for our church.
On Tuesday....
I don't know what I was thinking....
but we took on the project of making 100
of these little Shirt & Ties with my girls
to hand out to all the Dad's at church.
Surprisingly we did it and got them all done!
You can grab the bags at Zurcher's
4x8 inch size for .08 cents a piece!
The tie was cut from a piece 1 1/2 x 4 inch piece of scrap paper.
Just cut 2 slits about an inch down and an inch in on
either side of the bottom of the bag.
either side of the bottom of the bag.
Make a curved cut along the bottom.
Using the excess piece cut out a little pocket
and cut a little hanker chief from the matching tie paper.
Glue em' all together and add your Daddy's favorite treat!
So the lines aren't the straightest
or glued on all the way right
but to me it makes them all the more endearing!
(Thanks Stephanie for sharing this fun idea!)
