Sneak Peek-Mirror Inspiration

There hasn't been a lot of posting around here, but we have been busy. I should say busy and consumed with finding all the materials to make the many diy projects for the master bedroom
Let's just say....I have enough diy blog material to last for several months. I usually like to wait until a project is completely finished to post on the blog, but today you get a sneak peek!

Autumn from Design Dump designed my bedroom makeover and she chose the Timani Starburst Mirror as inspiration for a diy mirror in the master bedroom.  It will hang above the bed and is an important focal point for the room.  The plan was to make it from scratch, but the stars aligned last week when I walked into Craft Warehouse.  I found a low end version of the $400 plus mirror for less than 50.00!  It just needs some embellishing...okay some major embellishing. No worries, because Nicole gave me a very clever idea.

So, this is what I'm doing today while my little guy naps.
Come back soon to see it finished!
(Oh boy, I hope I can pull this one off!)

I was flipping through a Pottery Barn Kids catalogue yesterday and saw soooooo many things that made me think "Those Crafty Sisters could do this for a fraction of the cost and make it even cuter!" Glad to see you are still doing your thing. Best wishes for a great day. Tammy
