Yes, this is the sister who needs to pull her weight on this blog and share in the wonderful madness of DIY blogging!:) Saturday was one of the first days in a long time that I was perfectly selfish and indulged in the making and devouring of a Holiday Cookie Exchange with some wonderful ladies from my neighborhood. Seriously, does it get any better than making sugary delights and gorging on them together as we chuckle over our silly holiday traditions and memories, ones we love to remember and the ones we so desperately want to forget?
So here's my cookie I did, I was enticed by Betty Crocker and the pretty pictures she just loves to email me....They are called....Black-and-White Coconut Macaroons! Go visit Betty yourself and you can get the recipe here! Yes, mine have a tad more chocolate than Betty's picture, I think she'll forgive me even though my hips won't. Later this week Candy and I will attempt making our Grandmother's famous fudge, the recipe she got a long time ago when she went to a little candy demonstration at a local high school while visiting her sister in Utah. It's a little company, you might have heard of them, I think it's something like See's?;>)
