I have been at work today doing a little fall decorating in my home. I just love the change of the season, the natural colors are so beautiful. I'm sure most of you have seen Pottery Barn's fall decorating. I love how they tied leaves around cream candles. So simple.
I walked out to my backyard where a beautiful maple tree is in the process of changing colors, and plucked off several leaves.
Tied them with a few strands of twine to my candles, making sure to clean all the bugs off of the leaves. I don't think my leaves should have so many bugs...I probably need to look into that. :)
I'm sure the vibrant colors will not last long,
but seeing how easy this is...I'll switch them out in a few weeks.
Have a nice weekend, I hope you get a chance to go out and enjoy the Fall beauty!
I just saw this in the catalog, as well! I can't wait to try.

You can dip them in wax and that helps them stay quite awhile.
