No, I haven't done this project yet...but I want to! :)
After combing through mountains of craft piles, I stopped at our local grocer and picked up this great
BHG Special Interest Publication on organizing.
It's full of cute organizing ideas.
I need the "cute" to inspire me to organize my junk.

WOW! I would love this!
Let's see if I can make this happen......it's a big undertaking, but my house is in disarray.

What do you think of pegboard organizing?
Does it belong in the garage- or would you bring it in your home?
Candace... I would put it wherever I need it. But I seriously don't have room for a pegboard. I really need to declutter my whole house. I have company coming tonight, and I'm rushing around like a madwoman to get everything halfway tidy. That's as good as it gets! :)
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the craft room!

ps the box of the match holder is about 3.5x4 overall height about 7 inches.
i LOVE the pegboard. I have a big honker piece of pegboard hanging above my workbench in the basement (painted a cute green color) and it keeps me organized down there. I would TOTALLY put it on every wall of my craft room...and maybe I will go do that now! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI just installed it in my crafting room!!! Love it!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I want this so badly!!! They make peg boards look so chic.
ReplyDeleteI just made a little peg board jewelry organizer for my daughter and I love it.
ReplyDeleteI thought mabye I should include a link in case you want to see the jewelry organizer.

I think these are ADORABLE! Makes me wish I had a craft room (instead of a closet)...
ReplyDeletea girl can always dream :)
We are remodeling my spare bedroom into a craft room. I discovered that Home Depot sells small sized cuts of pegboard. I'd estimate they are about 3'x5'. I plan to hang one in my craft room above my work surface to organize my scrapbook stuff. I saw somewhere where someone painted theirs with polkadots (big ones). I love that idea and plan to spiffy mine up with big polka dots that match my accent wall. My husband is going to frame it out for me too.
ReplyDeleteGreat ideas! How could I extend my day?!? 24 hours it's too less for everything "have to do", no?:)

ReplyDeletei say put it where you want & where you will use it the most! - you'll love it!
Growing up, we had an uber organized neighbor who had almost his entire basement peg boarded.
ReplyDeleteAt least that was the way it seemed when we were down there. I used to love looking at it.
I definitely don't think it's for basements and garages alone! I will be interested to see what you do with it.
Love pegboard! Just hung four sheets last week in various places and plan to hang more. I love the clear in the above pic, I need to look for that!
